She is a transgender woman and a civil rights activist fighting for the rights of trans people in Armenia. On her right arm, a tattoo with the words " All Equal All Different". Lilit Martirosyan is the founder and the president of the NGO called "Right Side", founded in 2016 to defend and fight for the rights of the trans community in Armenia. She became on April 5th 2019 the first member of her country’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) community to deliver a speech on the parliamentary podium, speaking out against discrimination at a session of its committee on human rights. A trans woman (sometimes trans-woman or transwoman) is a woman who was assigned male at birth. Trans women may experience gender dysphoria and may transition; this process commonly includes hormone replacement therapy and sometimes sex reassignment surgery, which can bring immense relief and even resolve gender dysphoria entirely. Yerevan, sometimes spelled Erevan, is the capital and largest city of Armenia. Northern Avenue is a pedestrian avenue in Yerevan, opened in 2007. It is in the central Kentron district and links Abovyan Street with Freedom Square on Tumanyan street. It is 450 metres long and 27 metres wide.
