Iraq. Baghdad. Abu Ghraib prison. Looters, also called Ali Baba, take off paving stones in order to use them at home or to sell them in the market to earn money. The wall was a celebration to Saddam Hussein's regime. The Baghdad Central Prison, formerly known Abu Ghraib prison (Abu Ghuraib; also Abu Ghurayb, meaning 'father of the raven' or 'Place of Ravens' is in Abu Ghraib, an Iraqi city 32 km (20 mi) west of Baghdad.© 2003 Didier Ruef
