Mozambique. Province of Tete. Cazula is a small village in the bush. A white doctor (expatriate) with his stethoscope listens to the lungs of a young boy , who sits on the doctor's thighs. Medical consultation. The village can only be reached by plane. Beacause of the war between the Government and the rebel of the Frelimo party, the roads are either mined or too dangerous to travel on. The airplane is part of the "Flying Doctors" programm ran by the non governmental organisation (ngo) Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) of Belgium. © 1992 Didier Ruef
