Senegal. Tassinère. On the road to Tassinère, a pata monkey climbs on the vehicle hood and begs for food. The common patas monkey, also known as the hussar monkey, is a ground-dwelling monkey distributed over semi-arid areas of West Africa. Tassinère is a coastal village in Senegal located 30 kilometers south of the town of Saint-Louis, on the Grande-Côte, in Gandiol. It is part of the rural community of Ndiébène Gandiole, in the district of Rao, the department of Saint-Louis and the region of Saint-Louis. 18.06.2024 © 2024 Didier Ruef
