Senegal. Saint-Louis. Old town located on N'Dar island. The island is connected to the mainland by the 1865 Faidherbe Bridge, designed by Gustave Eiffel. Senegal River. Sheep and man stand together on the back of a  motorcycle pickup truck. The animal will be sacrificed the next day during Tabaski holiday, the Muslim festival of Eid-al-Adha (commonly translated as the Feast of Sacrifice) or Eid el-Kebir.
