It has issued a recommendation to all citizens to stay at home, especially the sick and the elderly. An old man talks to a relative by phone. They are two meters distant and a window stands between both men. The Casa Serena offers the opportunity for families which can anymore visit their parents due to the infectious disease. They can see each other, talk by phone and spend some time together. The safety sanitary measures advocate people to stand apart in order to avoid close contact and potential contamination by coronavirus. From March 16, the government ramped up its response to the widening pandemic, ordering the closure of bars, restaurants, sports facilities and cultural spaces.
