Both drones are made in custom gold finishing and both of them are integrated with the same mission control software, which allows to plan, execute and analyze aerial surveillance mission. PD-1 Pro VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) fixed-wing UAV can stay in the air for 7 hours, while carrying 6.5 kg of payload and maximum data link range of 100 km. Leleka-100 is capable of flying for 2.5 hours with EO and IR payload and has maximum range of 50 km. Both drones has been operated by multiple government and private users since 2015. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS); which include a UAV, a ground-based controller, and a system of communications between the two. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (or uncrewed aerial vehicle, commonly known as a drone) is an aircraft without a human pilot on board and a type of unmanned vehicle.
