United Arab Emirates (UAE). Abu Dhabi. Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX 2020). China North Industries Corporation (Norinco). A chinese salesman is presenting to a French and a Belgium high ranking military officers the MR 150 Pro UAV System, a multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The concept, which can be adapted to fit various tactical scenarios, involves the use of several MR40-series (equipped with four rotors) and MR150-series (six rotors) UAVs fitted with search and targeting radars and reconnaissance subsystems and armed with an array of weapons, including guided missiles and fragmentation bombs, as well as parachute-retarded and rocket-propelled munitions. The multi-rotor UAVs have also been fitted with a multi-channel datalink and can operate in a network-centric combat environment. The UAV has an operating range of 30 km and an endurance of an hour. It can also be armed with air-to-air missiles to engage aerial targets at short ranges. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS); which include a UAV, a ground-based controller, and a system of communications between the two. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (or uncrewed aerial vehicle, commonly known as a drone) is an aircraft without a human pilot on board and a type of unmanned vehicle. The flight of UAVs may operate with various degrees of autonomy: either under remote control by a human operator or autonomously by onboard computers. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country in Western Asia at the northeast end of the Arabian Peninsula. 23.02.2020 © 2020 Didier Ruef
