High ranking military officers listen to a panel discussion under the theme ‘Manned-Unmanned Teaming in the Age of Smart Systems’. The conference panel discusses innovative solutions to current challenges, the future in a world of rapid scientific developments and innovations and increased dependence on unmanned systems and artificial intelligence. Some men wear the traditional white thobe. A thawb (thobe, dishdasha, kandora) is an ankle-length garment, usually with long sleeves, similar to a robe, kaftan or tunic, commonly worn in the Arabian Peninsula. The headdress is called ghutrah. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS); which include a UAV, a ground-based controller, and a system of communications between the two. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (or uncrewed aerial vehicle, commonly known as a drone) is an aircraft without a human pilot on board and a type of unmanned vehicle. The flight of UAVs may operate with various degrees of autonomy: either under remote control by a human operator or autonomously by onboard computers. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country in Western Asia at the northeast end of the Arabian Peninsula. 22.02.2020 © 2020 Didier Ruef
