United Arab Emirates (UAE). Abu Dhabi. Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX 2020). RW-24 drone made by ADASI, a subsidiary of the UAE government-owned conglomerate Edge. A worker from Pakistan is cleaning dust from the drone's wings. RW-24 is a fully automated and high-speed UAV technology, capable of precise and long-range missions. Operating from shallow to near-vertical attack angles with multiple abort and re-attack capabilities, it enables rapid reaction to threats, along with long mission endurance and large payload capability. <br />
The Adasi RW-24 is a smart loitering munition that delivers autonomous ground strike capabilities against various types of targets. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS); which include a UAV, a ground-based controller, and a system of communications between the two. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (or uncrewed aerial vehicle, commonly known as a drone) is an aircraft without a human pilot on board and a type of unmanned vehicle. The flight of UAVs may operate with various degrees of autonomy: either under remote control by a human operator or autonomously by onboard computers. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country in Western Asia at the northeast end of the Arabian Peninsula. 24.02.2020 © 2020 Didier Ruef
