A television screen with the names of the birds and their owner according to the race start’s order. An Italian man from the Microgate company is seated on the chair and looks at his computer. Microgate was founded in 1989 in Bolzano, Italy, with the objective of creating timing systems for sports and recording time with highest precision. The company has a leading position at an international level in the field of sports timing, such as falcons' competitions. Falcons are birds of prey in the genus Falco, which includes about 40 species. Adult falcons have thin, tapered wings, which enable them to fly at high speed and change direction rapidly. Additionally, they have keen eyesight for detecting food at a distance or during flight, strong feet equipped with talons for grasping or killing prey, and powerful, curved beaks for tearing flesh.
