USA. Washington state. Seattle. A forest of plants is flowering in one of the marijuana grow rooms at AuricAG. Cannabis buds just look like a knobby tangle of leaves, but the calyx is what actually comprises the female flower. Underneath those tiny leaves (called “sugar leaves”) stand tear-shaped nodules which are the calyxes, and they come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors. Calyxes typically contain high concentrations of trichomes, or glands that secrete THC and other cannabinoids. AuricAG is a licensed producer and processor of Marijuana in Washington State. AuricAG is authorized, according to cannabis legalization in Washington State, to supply only licensed Washington State retail store fronts. AuricAG offers a wide array of strains that encompass the recreational aspect of the market as well as the medical market. Cannabis, commonly known as marijuana, is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug and as medicine. Pharmacologically, the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); it is one of 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 84 other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), and cannabigerol (CBG). 13.12.2014 © 2014 Didier Ruef
