USA. California state. San Francisco. Potero Hill district. Ives Béhar seats in Fuseproject offices on the Herman Miller Sayl chair which he has designed. Yves Béhar (born 1967) is a Swiss designer, renowned entrepreneur, and sustainability advocate. He is the founder and principal designer of Fuseproject, an award-winning industrial design and brand development firm. Béhar is also Chief Creative Officer of the wearable technology company Jawbone, and Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of August, a Smart Lock maker. Béhar's design work emphasizes the integration of commercial products with sustainability and social good. His clients have included Herman Miller, PUMA, MINI, See Better to Learn Better, General Electric, Swarovski, Samsung, Jimmyjane, and Prada. He is the chief industrial designer of One Laptop per Child (OLPC's) XO laptop, signing on with the project in 2005 and has been with the team since March 2006. This collaboration has led to two additional laptop prototypes, the OLPC XOXO and OLPC XO-3. In 2012 SodaStream International teamed with Béhar to introduce Source, a new home soda machine designed with a special emphasis on sustainability. 15.12.2014 © 2014 Didier Ruef
