Chiasso is located in the southern part of Switzerland in the canton Ticino. About 90 per cent of illegal immigrants who want to get into Switzerland try their chance by train. The others walk through the green border. No specific measures are yet planned by the border guards, but an emergency, reinforcements from other parts of Switzerland is dispatched in Ticino as prevention to a potential massive arrival of economic migrants.
