The Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) awarded to the chinese company SINOHYDRO Corporation Limited a contract on October 28, 2014, to design and construct 79.1Km asphalt concrete road. The new road, to be completed in two years, will extend from Mender, a town 42Kms from Jinka, to Hana town.
