Armenia. Yerevan. Monica Sarkisyan is a transgender woman. She seats on the terrace of a cafe in Azatutian Square, also known as Freedom Square, Liberty Square, Opera Square and Theatre Square. A trans woman (sometimes trans-woman or transwoman) is a woman who was assigned male at birth. Trans women may experience gender dysphoria and may transition; this process commonly includes hormone replacement therapy and sometimes sex reassignment surgery, which can bring immense relief and even resolve gender dysphoria entirely.
