He is an elected member of parliament and leader of the "Peace and Liberation" party. He is one of the men on the imputees list of the Special Court (for human rights abuses and crime against humanity) for Sierra Leone. Johnny Paul Koroma, former leader of the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council, was indicted on 7 March 2003 on 17 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Koroma fled Freetown in January 2003. His fate and whereabouts are unknown, and he is considered to be at large. © 2002 Didier Rue
