Congo Republic. Kouilou Province. Makaba. A hunter stands with his family in front of the family’s hut. The man holds a 12 gauge shotgun in his hands. The night before, due to the full moon, he did not catch any animals. A shotgun is a long-barreled firearm designed to shoot a straight-walled cartridge known as a shotshell, which discharges single solid projectile called a slug. Bushmeat is meat from wildlife species that are hunted for human consumption. Bushmeat represents a primary source of animal protein and a cash-earning commodity in poor and rural communities of humid tropical forest regions. Congo, officially the Republic of the Congo or Congo Republic, also known as Congo-Brazzaville is a country located on the western coast of Central Africa. 21.08.2024 © 2024 Didier Ruef
