Switzerland. Canton Ticino. Gandria. Border control at Dogana Gandria. The Caffe Bellarma is the last cafe and shop before the Italian border. An outside billboard advertises the sale of products from the Edel Hemp Switzerland SA , a company which sells online and through vending machines products made from hemp, cannabis CBD, hemp flowers and its derivatives. A green cannabis leaf is used as marketing tool on a poster laid on the sidewalk. In the background, a swiss customs officer controls the cars leaving Switzerland. The business of selling cannabis CBD is registered with the Swiss Federal Health Office. The Swiss legal requirements have a 1 percent THC limit compare to the European Union (EU) where the THC limit is limited to 0.3 percent. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of some 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract. Cannabidiol can be taken into the body in multiple ways, including by inhalation of cannabis smoke or vapor, as an aerosol spray into the cheek, and by mouth. It may be supplied as CBD oil containing only CBD as the active ingredient (no included tetrahydrocannabinol [THC] or terpenes), a full-plant CBD-dominant hemp extract oil, capsules, dried cannabis, or as a prescription liquid solution. 27.07.2019 © 2019 Didier Ruef
