Sierra Leone. Freetown. Issah Hassan Sessay was a general of the RUF (Revolutionary United Front) rebel during the war. He is seated in his new office of the political movement RUFP (Revolutionary United Front Party). He is one of the men on the imputees list of the Special Court (for human rights abuses and crime against humanity) for Sierra Leone. On 25 February 2009, after a four-year trial, the tribunal found the former RUF interim leader Issa Hassan Sesay guilty on 16 of 18 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
