Germany. North Rhine-Westphalia state. Cologne Zoological Garden. Being the third oldest zoo in Germany, it features over 10,000 animals of more than 850 species on more than 20 hectares. The leopard (Panthera pardus) is one of the five extant species in the genus Panthera. It has a pale yellowish to dark golden fur with dark spots grouped in rosettes.
