USA. Colorado state. Denver. After pot is harvested, Lala Herzog cuts marijuana leaves and flowers from the plants in the trim room at Medicine Man. Medicine Man began nearly six years ago as a small medical marijuana operation and has since grown to be the largest single marijuana dispensary, both recreational and medical, in the state of Colorado and has aspirations of becoming a national brand if pot legalization continues its march. Cannabis, commonly known as marijuana, is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug and as medicine. Pharmacologically, the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); it is one of 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 84 other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), and cannabigerol (CBG). 18.12.2014 © 2014 Didier Ruef
