The dam is 220 metres high by 380 metres in length. It creates the Vogorno lake, a water surface area of 1.68 km2, and supports the 105 MW Verzasca hydroelectric power station. The dam was constructed between 1961 and 1965. 22.01.22 © 2022 Didier Ruef
