Switzerland. Canton Ticino. Lugano. The emergency doctor Daniele Speciale (R) is working with two paramedics. A senior man is lying down unconscious due to a heart attack. Myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to a part of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. 45 minutes after arrival, with no restart of heart beats, the doctor Daniele Speciale had to declared the man dead. Paramedics team wears blue uniforms and work for the Croce Verde Lugano. The man (L) and the woman (C) are professional certified nurses.
