USA. Washington state. Fall City. ReStart Internet Addiction Recovery program at Heavensfield Retreat Center. Shlok (L), Rosanne Sherlock (R) and Andrew(R) seat and play cards (apples to apples' game) on the living room’s table. Rosanne Sherlock is the daytime resident superviser. Shlok is 22 years old and is a citizen from India. Andrew is 20 and american. Both have dropped out of university because they were highly addictive online video gamers on internet. ReStart is an unique intensive onsite program which offers to participants an opportunity to stay in a retreat center designed to promote insight and renewal, disconnect from digital distractions, and engage in coaching and mentoring while building a blue print for change. The three to six-month reStart program, the first of this kind in the United States, works to help men over 18, suffering from problematic internet, video game, social media and technology use by teaching positive and sustainable lifestyle change in a serene, rural environment surrounded by nature. 11.12.2014 © 2014 Didier Ruef
