Kazakhstan. Aralsk. A Kazakh old couple, man and woman, buy an esturgeon fish from the Aral sea at the market. Due to an an ambitious undertaking through dams construction which aims to reverse one of the world's man-made environmental disaster and bring back the sea, the water is returning to the Kazakh Aral sea (small Aral). The men can fish and catch esturgeons again. Aralsk is located in the Kyzyl Orda Province. © 2008 Didier Ruef
