Congo Republic. Pointe-Noire. A man walks toward the Atlantic Ocean. Fish market in the Songolo district. A pile of dead hammerhead sharks. The hammerhead sharks are a group of sharks that form the family Sphyrnidae, named for the unusual and distinctive form of their heads, which are flattened and laterally extended into a cephalofoil (a T-shape or "hammer"). The shark's eyes are placed one on either end of this T-shaped structure, with their small mouths directly centered and underneath. Congo, officially the Republic of the Congo or Congo Republic, also known as Congo-Brazzaville is a country located on the western coast of Central Africa. 20.08.2024 © 2024 Didier Ruef
