Nigeria. Enugu State. Enugu. A group of women, men and children pray during an open air mass on Sunday morning. They are all members of a Christian catholic prayer group (Apostelship of Prayer League of the Sacred Heart) which celebrates its 175th Anniversary. The group follows the example of Jesus Christ who was meek and humble in his heart. All women wear a head tie which is a women's cloth head scarf. The head tie is used as an ornamental head covering or fashion accessory, or for functionality in different settings. Its use or meaning can vary depending on the country and/or religion of those who wear it. The head tie is called gele in Nigeria. Enugu is the capital of Enugu State, located in southeastern Nigeria. 30.06.19 © 2019 Didier Ruef
