Czech Republic. South Moravian Region. Brno. The International Defence and Security Technologies (IDET 2021) fair is an important defence and security technology show. Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). Two models: On the left, Rotem Aerial Vehicle (AV) is a tactical, loitering munition based on a light multi-rotor platform that delivers excellent capabilities against low signature enemy systems in complex environments. The lightweight and compact AV can be assembled in seconds and operated by a single soldier. The AV is capable of lethal precision strikes on stationary and mobile targets with abort/safe capability and is recoverable. Rotem is an extremely versatile platform which can perform squad-level ISR and attack missions with minimal planning and operational focus from the operator. The exceptional capability to hover allows the VTOL platform to see targets and engage within seconds. In the center, the Heron is a medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The Heron is a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial system (UAS) for strategic and tactical missions. It is operated worldwide in both strategic and tactical missions. The Heron is capable of operations of up to 45 hours duration, and up to 10.5 km. Heron’s multi-mission system utilizes up to six diverse mission payloads simultaneously allowing complex intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions over any terrain. On the video, a presentation for IAI’s Harop. The Harop is an unmanned combat aerial vehicle is also known as Harop loitering munitions missile. This SEAD-optimised loitering munition is designed to loiter the battlefield and attack targets by self-destructing into them. Rather than holding a separate high-explosive warhead, the drone itself is the main munition. 6.10.21 © 2021 Didier Ruef
