Italy. Lombardy Region. Como. Homeless african migrants living in the park below the San Giovanni railway station. Two girls from Ethiopia are waiting
to receive food provided by the swiss NGO Firdaus. The women volunteers from Firdaus are from various origins (a Tamil from Sri lanka, a Syrian with a hijab on her head,..). A non-governmental organization (NGO) is a not-for-profit organization that is independent from states and international governmental organisation. A hijab is a veil that covers the head and chest, which is particularly worn by some Muslim women in the presence of adult males outside of their immediate family. 11.08.2016 © 2016 Didier Ruef
