Italy. Lombardy Region. Como. Homeless african migrants living in the park below the San Giovanni railway station. Two girls from Ethiopia are waiting <br />
to receive food provided by the swiss NGO Firdaus. The women volunteers from Firdaus are from various origins (a Tamil from Sri lanka, a Syrian with a hijab on her head,..). A non-governmental organization (NGO) is a not-for-profit organization that is independent from states and international governmental organisation. A hijab is a veil that covers the head and chest, which is particularly worn by some Muslim women in the presence of adult males outside of their immediate family. 11.08.2016 © 2016 Didier Ruef
