Switzerland. Geneva. Paquis police station. A police officer check on a computer the identity of a man who was arrested while her colleague calls the high ranking officer on duty during the night shift to explain him the case. The inmate is a drug user, who got arrested after trying to enter a shop illegaly and steal articles.  He was using an ax, a screwdriver and a cordless drill (an electric drill using rechargeable batteries). The man is a junkie who lives permanently in Geneva and is already well-known by the police for various burglaries and drug affairs. A police station or station house is a building which serves police officers and contains offices, temporary holding cells and interview/interrogation rooms. 29.03.12 © 2012 Didier Ruef
