Switzerland. Canton Bern. Kallnach. Rusted metal sculptures for sale. Art work by Dominik Matter. A tennisman serving the ball, a sow and her piglet, a cow, an elephant and a giraffe. The domestic pig, often called swine, hog, or simply pig when there is no need to distinguish it from other pigs, is a large, domesticated, even-toed ungulate. Cattle, or cows (female) and bulls (male), are the most common type of large domesticated ungulates. They are a prominent modern member of the subfamily Bovinae. Elephants are mammals of the family Elephantidae and the largest existing land animals. Three species are currently recognised: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant, and the Asian elephant. Distinctive features of all elephants include a long proboscis called a trunk, tusks, large ear flaps, massive legs, and tough but sensitive skin. The giraffe (Giraffa) is an African artiodactyl mammal, the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant. Kallnach (French: Chouchignies) is a municipality in the Seeland administrative district. 8.11.2020 © 2020 Didier Ruef
