Senegal. Dakar. Atlantic Ocean. Off Dakar’s harbour, the Senegalese public electricity producer Senelec uses the Karmol LNGT Powership Africa floating LNG storage and regasification facility (FSRU). The LNG Tanker has an overall length (LOA) of 272 meters and its width is 47.2 meters. A Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU), or floating LNG terminal, is a moored vessel which plays the role of a small LNG import port, i.e. say that its function is to receive liquefied natural gas transshipped from LNG carriers, store it, return it to the gaseous state, and inject it into the natural gas transport network. 21.06.2024 © 2024 Didier Ruef
