France. Ile-de-France Department. Paris. Eurosatory 2022. On display, two Hero-120. They are short range lethal loitering systems made by UVision Air Ltd, an Israeli defense technology company. The company’s solutions, called HERO, are designed for targeted attacks against a variety of threats at various ranges. It designs and manufactures unmanned aerial loitering munition systems with unique flight qualities, advanced airborne guidance, navigation systems, precision attack munitions and stations fully integrated with communication links. The Hero-120 are tactical systems, ideal for anti-tank missions or other strategic objectives. The Hero-120 is the largest of the short-range systems. It carries a 4.5 kg warhead and can endure an extended flight time of 60 minutes. Two chasseurs alpins (English: Alpine Hunters) look at a military vehicle with a machine gun on a turret. The men are the elite mountain infantry force of the French Army, trained to operate in mountainous terrain and in urban warfare.
