Cape Verde. Saõ Vincente. Mindelo. The Mandingas of Ribeira Bote celebrate the coming of Carnival in the streets of Mindelo. People stand on the road before the start of the the Mandingas’ parade from the neighborhood of Ribeira Bote / Ilha d'Madeira all the way to the city centre. A man plays the trumpet while another man seats on a Chinese motor tricycle used to transport people or goods. A woman is disguised as a religious catholic nun.
