Switzerland. Zürich. Street Parade. Two homosexual men, stripped to the waist, wearing long white gloves, a tight underwear, sexy stockings, high-heeled shoes, a plastic heart on the chest, their hair painted and heavily make up on the faces, both guys are getting ready for the Street Parade which is a yearly techno event in Zurich. The Street Parade is the most attended techno parade in the world and is the largest annual event in Zurich. Officially a demonstration for freedom, love and tolerance attended by up to a one million people, it proceeds along the side of Lake Zurich on the second Saturday of August. © 1995 Didier Ruef
