France. Landes department. Mimizan. Water lilies. Nymphaeaceae is a family of flowering plants, commonly called water lilies. They live as rhizomatous aquatic herbs in temperate climate. Water lilies are rooted in soil in bodies of water, with leaves and flowers floating on or emergent from the surface. Étang d'Aureilhan or Lac d'Aureilhan is a lake. At an elevation of 10 m, its surface area is 3.4 km². Mimizan is a commune in the Landes department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in south-western France. 14.8.2022 © 2022 Didier Ruef
