The Dorze are a small ethnic group inhabiting the Gamo Gofa Zone who speak the Dorze language, an Omotic tongue. The Dorze are predominantly agriculturalists living in permanent villages. Well known cotton weavers, the Dorze tribe were once warriors. Marc Vella is a french musician and a nomadic pianist. Over the last 25 years he has travelled with his Grand Piano in around forty countries to celebrate humanity. Creator of “La Caravane amoureuse” (The Caravan of Love) he takes people with him to say “I love you” to others and “lovingly conquered” their hearts and souls. Alain Devaud (R) is a participat of The Caravan of Love is enjyoing a warm welcome by three attractive women and a young boy wearing a cheetah fur. The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a big cat in the subfamily Felinae that inhabits most of Africa. The Dorze numbered 40'000 reside in villages near the cities of Chencha and Arba Minch.
