The Dorze are a small ethnic group inhabiting the Gamo Gofa Zone who speak the Dorze language, an Omotic tongue. The Dorze are predominantly agriculturalists living in permanent villages. Well known cotton weavers, the Dorze tribe were once warriors. Marc Vella is a french musician and a nomadic pianist.
