Hugo Raetz is the geologist in charge of Bondo’s survey and supervision after the massive landslide which hit the remote village and caused by a giant rockslide swept down from Piz Cengalo on August 23, 2017. The man works for the Federal Office for the Environment. The Federal Office for the Environment (German: Bundesamt für Umwelt; French: Office fédéral de l'environnement; Italian: Ufficio federale dell'ambiente) is the Swiss environmental agency, a division of the Federal Department of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications.
