Switzerland. Canton Vaud. Lausanne. Clinique Cecil. Doctor Etienne Delacrétaz. Cardiology. Many cardiac arrhythmias can be treated by catheter ablation. The procedure is performed in an electrophysiology (EP) laboratory. Two to three catheters are inserted through the groin into the heart cavities. A generator directs an electrical current through the catheter to small areas of the heart muscle that causes the abnormal heart rhythm. The Clinique Cecil belongs to the Hirslanden Private Hospital Group. 10.10.12 © 2012 Didier Ruef
