Togo. Maritime Region. Lomé. A young boy lies on a wooden bench during Sunday catholic mass at the Sacred Heart Cathedral (Cathédrale du Sacré-Cœur). It is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lomé. Built in just over a year (April 1901 to September 1902) by the German colonial authorities, it quickly became one of the iconic buildings of the new capital of Togo. Lomé is the capital and largest city of Togo. 24.11.2024 © 2024 Didier Ruef
