Serbia. Zitkovac is a village in Central Serbia situated in the municipality of Aleksinac, in the Nišava District. « Vuk Karadzic » Elementary School. The school’s students are from Serbian and Romani ethnicity. Students play in the schoolyard during classes' break. The Romani (also spelled Romany) or Roma, Roms or Gypsies, are a traditionally itinerant ethnic group. The Pestalozzi Children's Foundation (Stiftung Kinderdorf Pestalozzi) is advocating access to high quality education for underprivileged children.
