Switzerland. The Republic and Canton of Neuchâtel. Neuchâtel. Narcotics squad. "Narko" operation. Two police officers on duty (both in plain-clothes) keep an eye on and control identities of two men from Western Africa. The policemen look for illegal substances (drugs). Both black men will be left free at the end of the control. Plainclothes law enforcement is a method used by police. The policemen wear plainclothes or "ordinary clothes" instead of a uniform in order to avoid detection or identification as law enforcement agents. Police officers in plainclothes must identify themselves when using their police powers. 28.03.15 © 2015 Didier Ruef
