Switzerland. Canton Ticino. Lugano. Ciani Park. Parco Ciani is a green area on the lake near the town center. Built in 1845, when the Ciani brothers purchased the property, it became in 1912 the property of Lugano municipality. It covers an area of about 63,000 (sq m). A moslem family seats on a bench and drinks a hot tea. Father (R), mother (CR), daughter (CL) and son-in-law (L). Both women wear a hijab which is a veil worn by some Muslim women in the presence of any male outside of their immediate family. The hijab usually covers the head and chest.
