Switzerland. The Republic and Canton of Neuchâtel. Neuchâtel. The commissar Manuel Garcia at the police station headquaters. The narcotics squad during "Narko" operation has seized two luggages full of cannabis (6 kg) and hashich (21 kg). The narcotics squad works in plainclothes. Plainclothes law enforcement is a method used by police. The policemen wear plainclothes or "ordinary clothes" instead of a uniform in order to avoid detection or identification as law enforcement agents. Cannabis, commonly known as marijuana, is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug. Pharmacologically, the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); it is one of 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 84 other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), and cannabigerol (CBG). Hashish, or hash, is a cannabis product composed of compressed or purified preparations of stalked resin glands, called trichomes. It contains the same active ingredients—such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other cannabinoids—but often in higher concentrations than unsifted buds or leaves. 31.03.15 © 2015 Didier Ruef
