Germany. North Rhine-Westphalia state. Cologne Zoological Garden. Being the third oldest zoo in Germany, it features over 10,000 animals of more than 850 species on more than 20 hectares. The snow leopard (Panthera uncia), commonly known as the ounce, is a species of large cat in the genus Panthera of the family Felidae.
