Switzerland. Canton Valais. Ulrichen. Viola Amherd (second left) is a Swiss politician who has served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council since 2019. She is the head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport. The national jamboree of the Swiss Scout Movement takes place in the Goms valley. It hosts a gigantic campsite, called Bula (german), Café (french) and Cafe (italian). About 30'000 Scouts settle in the valley for two weeks under the theme "mova". In scouting, a jamboree is a large gathering of Scouts who rally at a national or international level. The jamboree of the Swiss Scout Movement takes place once every 14 years.
