Guy Parmelin is a Swiss politician and a member of the Swiss People's Party (SVP/UDC). He has been a member of the Swiss Federal Council since 2016. The national jamboree of the Swiss Scout Movement takes place in the Goms valley. It hosts a gigantic campsite, called Bula (german), Café (french) and Cafe (italian). About 30'000 Scouts settle in the valley for two weeks under the theme "mova". In scouting, a jamboree is a large gathering of Scouts who rally at a national or international level.
