Switzerland. Zürich. People follow on the Bahnhofstrasse (main shopping street) the parade for the Sechseläuten which celebrates the end of the winter. The Sechseläuten is a traditional spring holiday celebrated in its current form, usually on the 3rd Monday of April. A man wearing sunglasses is dressed with a black suit, a white shirt and a tie. He holds a newspaper in his hand. An old man with a white cap stands close to a pillar. An elderly bald man, an aged woman and another man with a mustache, all stand on small concrete columns in order to have a better view on the parade. Swiss flags. The flag of Switzerland displays a white cross in the centre of a square red field. The white cross is known as the Swiss cross © 1991 Didier Ruef
