USA. Colorado state. Denver. Dabbing in iBAKE Denver, the first private membership head-shop that people can smoke marijuana in. Anna (L) and her boyfriend Hollywood (R) are dabbing which is a slang term used to describe taking single dose hash hits of concentrates that are referred to as oil, erl, earwax, wax, budder, BHO or shatter using pipes and bongs that are made specifically for smoking these cannabis extracts. The pieces are designed to have a skillet or nail that made from glass, quartz or titanium that is heated with a handheld torch, the user then ‘dabs’ a small of the extract onto the hot nail causing the concentrate to flash into a vapor that you inhale. Dabbing is the street name for use concentrated butane hash oil, which has THC concentrations as high as 75% (allegedly reaching the 90+ range in some cases) compared with typical pot concentration of about 10 to 15 percent. Depending on the concentrate one long, hard hit can feel as having five blunts at once. The result is a rapid and very strong high. Cannabis, commonly known as marijuana, is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug and as medicine. Pharmacologically, the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); it is one of 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 84 other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), and cannabigerol (CBG). 18.12.2014 © 2014 Didier Ruef
